Man Booker Longlist Recently Announced

The longlist for the Man Booker Prize was announced late last month.  Being on the longlist for this prestigious award is quite an honor.  There are definitely some interesting names among those on the list.  One former winner, Alan Hollinghurst in 2004, made this year's list for his book The Stranger's Child.  Several first-time authors are among the names as well.  Stephen Kellman for Pigeon English; Andrew Miller for Snowdrops and Yvette Edwards for A Cupboard Full of Coats are three first-timers listed. 

Here are a few other authors on the Man Booker Prize longlist.  Be sure to check these out at the library!

On Canaan's Side- Sebastian Barry
