This solo debut is an original fantasy with a dark edge. These are not the "warm and fuzzy" fairies we are used to reading about. They will scare the bejesus out of you! Doc's battle with heroin addiction is very real and when he runs up against evil--you will believe. Now the second in the series is out, Steward of Song, and I can't wait to read it! This wonderful and original series is from the son of fantasy queen Jane Yolen.
